About Mental Health
Poor Mental Health can have many causes, social isolation, discrimination, financial or housing difficulties, bereavement, relationship issues, bullying, trauma, alcohol, or drug related, physical health, and diagnosable mental health conditions to name just a few.
All of these can impact on your mood, way of thinking and behaviour. Feeling stressed, anxious, or worried, making you unhappy, impacting on your ability to cope. Poor Mental Health can produce physical symptoms, such as headaches, tiredness, upset stomach, fast breathing, dizziness, fast or irregular heartbeat.
Recognising you have a problem, that you need help, and asking for help can be hard. Not knowing where to go, and what help is available, can make it difficult to take the steps to get help.
Knowing how difficult this can be, we are here to help with this, and to help support you. This can be a chat about you and your situation. Talking to someone who has gone through it or is still going through it. Helping to establish if we can signpost you to relevant NHS services and other organisations. Helping you to understand what is happening.
We provide supportive, safe avenues to keep talking about Mental Health, to remove the stigma around it, and make it easier for people to understand it and what is happening to them, and to get the help and support needed.
