Are you struggling with mental health issues? Are you concerned about someone you love? Has the lockdown left you feeling out of touch?

Why not talk over a cup of tea? You don’t have to physically meet up with anyone, you can talk virtually and over a cup of tea (or coffee).

Talking about how you feel is a brave thing to do, in addition to this, it’s a great way to take charge of your mental health.

We offer mental health support for Selby and the surrounding areas. Why not give us a call? Our phone line is open from 7 pm – 10 pm, 365 days of the year.

Call us on (01757) 642 399. If you call before our phone lines are open and we cannot answer you will be diverted to an NHS Helpline.

Talking about how you feel can help you to cope with any difficulties you may have. Knowing that someone is there for you can help you to feel more supported and less alone.

Talking to someone about your thoughts and feelings isn’t always easy. However, there is a trick you can use to things easier. If you cannot think of the words to describe what you’re feeling, use a lot of words.

Begin explaining how your head feels. Talk about the things you like doing and you’ll soon find talking becomes easier.

You can get help with mental health if you talk to anyone who cares about you. If you think you need help, talking to someone can be the very first step to getting the support and help you need.

Put the kettle on and have a chat over a cup of tea or coffee. This can help you to feel less alone, even if you chat virtually.

We put the ‘tea’ in Communi-tea. We believe a lot can be achieved by offering a tea and a chat.

We understand that mental health support is needed now more than ever before.

Whether you decide to talk to us, a friend, a family member, or your doctor, talking can make a world of difference.
