For some people, however, social media can be quite challenging, especially for those with social anxiety. In fact, it can feel as challenging as talking to someone face-to-face.

When you’re engaged in a video call, you can feel self-conscious. However, focusing on other people can help.
Try to avoid comparing yourself with other people. They only share the things on social media that they want to share, and sometimes those photos are airbrushed. Give yourself a social media break if you keep comparing yourself to others.
If you don’t tend to interact with other people’s posts you might not make any meaningful connections. Try to interact a little more but without overthinking it.
