Berries contain antioxidants and they can boost your serotonin. Serotonin is your brain’s happy chemical. In addition to this, berries are full of nutrients, and they can also help to speed up lower digestive transit. Bananas are full of serotonin and they can help you to feel fuller for longer. 

Serves 2. 


200 grams of frozen berries (Such as raspberries, currants, and blackberries)

2 ripe bananas

4 mint leaves (Optional)


1 – Chop the bananas and add them to a bowl. Pour the berry mix in and stir a little. Add to a blender and blitz until smooth.

2 – Divide the mixture between 2 glasses. Place a few mint leaves on top of the slushes for extra flavour. 

Top tip: Add a few spoonfuls of live yogurt if you want to make the mixture a little thinner.
